Celia-Hannes

Celia-Hannes are Célia Picard and Hannes Schreckensberger, whose interdisciplinary work crosses the fields of art, design and architecture. Their research-based practice relies on a critical encounter with architecture and the symbolics of objects. They consider the urban and rural territories as vast public databases where they collect resources for their own projects. Their conceptual objects investigate the notions of simplicity and reduction.

Picard and Schreckensberger are also the founders of Revue DAS, an independent research and publishing platform that focuses on the genesis of ideas in architecture and design. They live and work between Austria and France.
