Bert Löschner is active both as a product designer and as an artist. Born in Zwickau in Germany, he graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts Nürnberg. Löschner works patiently, endlessly trying on new techniques to deform and reform the various found objects he displaces, merges or dislocates. His practice is both brutal and meticulous, always witty and at times bitingly critical of our deferent relation to design's masterpieces or of our thoughtless relation to mass products. He lives and works in Vienna.
